    Delaminations in composite laminates may develop from small cracks due to fabrication and impact loading, or from places of high stress concentration. The locations of the delaminations are not determinate. In this research, an analytical solution for the free vibration of a composite beam with two overlapping delaminations is presented. The delaminated beam is analyzed as seven interconnected. Delaminations which covered 1/3 of the specimen length had no more than a 20% effect on any of the first four frequencies. Gibson, R.F.     This paper considers the damped small-amplitude free-vibration of composite laminated strips subject to large in-plane forces and rotations. A theoretical framework is formulated for the prediction of the nonlinear damping of composite laminates subject to large Green–Lagrange axial strains and assuming a Kelvin viscoelastic solid. [3] introduced a dynamic finite element method for free vibration analysis of generally laminated composite beams on the basis of first-order shear deformation theory. The influences of Poisson effect, couplings among extensional, bending and torsional deformations, shear deformation and rotary inertia are incorporated in the formulation.
